Looking for a good read...

Since graduating college last year, I have finally settled down and been able to return to one of my favorite hobbies: reading. It has been many years since I have had a lot of time to read for pleasure, and in the past month or two I have picked it up again. Because I have been out of the loop so long, however, I need your help. Please leave a comment with some of the books you have enjoyed and why. All suggestions are welcome!

Nights in Rodanthe. It's a great book, and an awesome movie. I really don't know what else to say other than it's really good. And if you want to read it, just let me know, I can mail you my copy of the book to borrow.

Ooo, I remember seeing the previews for that! Thanks, Monique! And I just looked at my library's online catalog and they have it so no need to mail yours down:) Keep them coming people!

To the Golden Shore. I heartily recommend it. I read it when Jake was deployed the first time and I cried a lot. So be sure you're in the right mood before you pick it up. It's about Adoniram Judson an American Missionary. It's just such a good book.

The Horse Boy. It's a book about a father, his autistic son, horses, and how they rode through Mongolia on horseback to visit Shamans, to see if the shamans can heal his son. Great book. I also own this one if the library doesn't have it, and I could mail it to you.
